DFW ATO AREA REP

(Area 1)

My name is Linda Calderon, and I'm honored to have been voted in by the

Executive Board for DFW Airport Area Rep. For the past 8 years, I have proudly

served as a Customer Service Agent with American Airlines, cultivating a strong

foundation in teamwork and leadership. My assertive and energetic approach has enabled me to thrive in our dynamic environment, and my exceptional communication and organizational skills have been key to my success.

Driven by a passion for cooking, I have also pursued my culinary dreams by

attending Culinary School full-time, leading me to establish my own private chef business. This journey reflects my unwavering commitment to balancing

professional growth with personal aspirations, as I continue to advance my career at American Airlines while nurturing my culinary venture.

Prior to joining American Airlines, I dedicated 16 years to hospice care

consultation, focusing on end-of-life care for both adults and pediatrics. In this role, I directed sales and marketing efforts, managed teams, and created a Spanish-speaking medical team that became an essential liaison within the community. My advocacy work is exemplified through my service as a board member for the American Heart Association's Hispanic Community Outreach and the American Diabetes Association, where I prioritized bilingual education for better health outcomes in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. I am also proud to serve as a board member

of the Palliative Care Coalition for Quality of Life.

As Area Representative, I bring valuable experience in managing high-pressure

situations and achieving ambitious goals. As a passionate advocate for workers'

rights, I strive to make meaningful changes that resonate with our community. My mission is to be an effective extension of my fellow co-workers, representing our

union with pride as we collectively work towards ensuring Local 6001 continues to strengthen in solidarity. I am excited about the opportunity to serve and make a lasting difference in our workplace. Thank you!

 PREMIUM SVC REP     TX/MO/OK

(AREA 3)

As a Texas native, I started my career in aviation as a customer service agent at DFW  in 2015. I’ve since held multiple positions within customer care. CWA is the first union organization I’ve been a part of but I know the importance of being United. I learned this from family and friends working at AT&T, GMC etc…. Before becoming a steward I would always be asked to be a peer witness because of the experience and knowledge I gained prior to joining AA. I'm excited to be a part of this group, making us stronger,  and knowledgeable of our rights as members.

AREA REP     TX CITIES

(AREA 4)

I have been proudly employed with the airline since 1999 and have dedicated many years to supporting and representing my fellow union members. Throughout my career, I have served as a Chief Steward in both AUS and SAT, gaining valuable experience in leadership, advocacy, and working with our membership.

I believe our union members are the heart of our organization, and I am committed to making sure their voices are heard, their rights are protected, and they are treated with the respect they deserve.
